A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering chemical burns in a nasty workplace accident on the Gold Coast on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to a location off Harrington Street in Arundel just before 12.30pm, following reports of the incident.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 40s suffering chemical burns to his wrist and arm.
He was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the man was transported in a stable condition.
