A man in his 60’s has been flown to hospital from a Lockyer Valley workplace after being trapped by his arms in a meat slicer at a business west of Brisbane.
Paramedics and fire crews were called to the Plainland address on the Warrego Highway just before 8:30am.
The man was freed from the machine by fire crews after about half an hour.
He sustained serious injuries to his arm and hand and was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A hospital spokesperson said the man was undergoing surgery and was in a stable condition.
