A Qantas employee has been taken to hospital after suffering a head injury at Perth Airport.
It is understood the man fell and hit his head while loading baggage on to a Qantas flight near terminal 3.
The incident happened just before 12 noon near a Qantas plane due to depart for Singapore.
Passengers had to deplane, and were delayed to allow an investigation of the scene.
Qantas flight QF71 was scheduled for 12.20pm but delayed until 2.51pm on Monday.
A spokeswoman for Perth Airport said: “There was an incident earlier today involving a Qantas employee.
“Emergency services attended and took the employee off site.”
Qantas confirmed an airport worker had been taken to hospital.
