A Queensland woman has died after getting trapped underneath a ride-on lawn mower.
A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed the 61-year-old was killed in a “tragic accident” after the ride-on mower she was driving rolled at a property in Kin Kin, north of the Sunshine Coast, yesterday. She became trapped and died at the scene. Her body was found by police about 7.30pm.
Workplace Health and Safety will be investigating the incident.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
