A man in his 50s has died after being crushed by a fibreglass pool at work.
Paramedics were called to Barrier Reef Pools, a pool manufacturing business, in Beaudesert south-west of Brisbane just before 10am.
The fibreglass pool was being hoisted by a crane when it came crashing down on the worker, who couldn’t be saved.
Queensland Ambulance said the man was treated for critical injuries but died at the scene.
Queensland Police said a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Queensland Workplace Health and Safety are investigating the incident.
