A man has revealed how he lost two fingers in a workplace injury on the same day his brand new guitar was delivered to his home.
Guitarist Kole Bristen said he suffered the shocking injury while using heavy industrial machinery.
The 37 year old lost his index and middle fingers while using a “big industrial four-side planer/profiler”.
Bristen said: “Major accident. Could have been way worse, I’ll get on top of this.”
Bristen said surgeons were unable to reattach the digits because “my fingers were pulp”.
Bristen said he was determined to continue his musical career despite the setback.
“I’ll be even better than before!” he vowed.
