A man has died at Yea after his vehicle rolled down a hill while he was weed spraying. The 55-year-old man was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled about 40 metres down a steep hill, a statement from WorkSafe said. It is not known if the incident, which happened about 2pm on Monday, occurred on a farm.
It comes after a 52-year-old man died in hospital after a circular saw cut into his leg at a Cobblebank property, also on Monday.
The labourer is believed to have been using the saw to cut timber posts, WorkSafe said.
