A worker trimming trees has been injured after the cherry picker he was in toppled over in Perth’s northern suburbs.
It is understood the 22-year-old suffered a broken arm when he plunged seven metres to the ground, landing on the opposite side of the road.
The City of Stirling contractor had been at the top of the cherry picker when it collapsed on Gray Ave in Yokine on Friday afternoon.
Security video showed how it came just metres from hitting a parked car.
The worker was taken to the Royal Perth Hospital and WorkSafe has been notified and is investigating.
