More people are claiming mental injury, such as depression, anxiety, and even PTSD because of toxic work cultures.
Workplace-induced trauma can stem from several causes: bullying, discrimination, and poor work-life boundaries. It’s so common that last month the Victorian government made moves to limit what you can claim as a psychological injury for Work Cover, due to an overloading of the system.
Now, more laws defining psychological and emotional workplace hazards are coming into force around the country to tackle the damage work can do to our mental health.
