Patient rushed to hospital following tractor accident

A person was rushed to hospital by helicopter after a tractor accident at a property in the Lockyer Valley.

Paramedics, including critical care and a rescue helicopter, were called to a serious workplace incident in the Lockyer Valley on Saturday afternoon.

One patient was assessed at the scene in Glen Cairn, west of Ipswich, after an incident involving a tractor at 10.46am.

The 52 year-old man was transported by helicopter to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
