A man has been seriously injured during a workplace incident in Brisbane.
The man was reportedly at a worksite in Brisbane’s West End when he fell from a height at about 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Queensland Ambulance tweeted that the man fell “approximately 2.5 metres”.
The worksite was reportedly located on Victoria Street in West End, close to the Brisbane River, where major residential development projects are believed to be underway.
The man was assessed by paramedics at the scene and taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious head injuries.
7NEWS.com.au reached out to WorkSafe, which confirmed that Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) was “investigating an accident that occurred in West End today.”
“As this is a current investigation, WHSQ is unable to provide further information at this time,” it said.
